2026 – Season Outlook:

Dubwig will be competing for the starting punter role against fellow sophomore Dylan Drennan. Both have big legs, but Drennan has real college experience with 65 punts last season at Buffalo. Will that be enough to put him over the top? We will have to see how camp plays out for both guys.

Thoughts

A punter is going to be an incredibly important position on this team. We don’t know how well this offense will gel and being able to give the defense a chance by pinning them deep into their own territory will be huge. As the saying goes, punting is winning and Purdue will need Dubwig to do well if they want to do any winning of their own.
