New England Patriots All-Pro safety Kevin Byard already sees the chemistry building between quarterback Drake Maye and wideout A.J. Brown.
He commented on his initial impressions of the duo when speaking with media members on Tuesday.

“They're already developing that relationship," Byard said, via Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan. "And like I said, anytime A.J. is backside at X, I know that's where the ball is probably going, so I try to cheat my alignments and stuff like that.”
Brown has dominated against man coverage throughout his NFL career, and that is something the Patriots have consistently struggled to win against in games. His mere presence could open up the offense in a major way this season.
Byard's comments aren't just lip service, either.
The video of Maye and Brown's back-shoulder fade touchdown connection at Day 1 of mandatory minicamp has already gone viral. A little over a week of being together, and the duo is already putting words into action.
