Manchester United want Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson

Manchester United want to sign a new left-back this summer and Fulham star Antonee Robinson has emerged as a potential target for them, according to Sky Sports. Man United manager Michael Carrick wants reinforcement in the position at the Old Trafford club with Luke Shaw the only remaining senior option after Tyrell Malacia left. Patrick Dorgu is an option for the Red Devils, but he is expected to continue in a more attacking role going forward. Robinson has been on Man United’s radar for a while and a move could be on the cards for him.

The 28-year-old has 17 assists in 158 Premier League games for Fulham and has the much-needed experience the Red Devils want in a full-back. Robinson will look to impress at the World Cup with the United States of America and could attract more suitors. The Red Devils target scored a ridiculous volley in a friendly against Germany last Saturday, proving what he is capable of when gets into favourable attacking positions.

Man United could do with such a defender, and he is capable of giving Shaw a run for his money next season. Robinson’s major strengths include ball interception, passing, dribbling, crossing and tackling.
