The Egyptian national team, led by the legendary Liverpool superstar Mo Salah, is training in Cleveland, Ohio to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

They had a chance to meet the Cleveland Browns on Friday, which is a cool sports crossover with that city's NFL team.

Except you would never guess which Browns player did a jersey swap with Salah.

OK, to be fair, maybe you would, because it was the kicker.

Andre Szmyt and Salah did a swap:

In one sense, it makes sense that the kicker would be most interested in this opportunity.

On the other hand, wouldn't you put a star in this moment with Salah?

Except, well, who fits that bill for the Browns? Myles Garrett just got traded, and he was the closest.

The reality is that it's quite ironic that Salah is training at the home of the miserable Browns.

Egypt's national team isn't super deep, so Salah will have to be special for them to make any noise at the World Cup.

And hey, at least he got an Andre Szmyt jersey out of the trip.
