Caleb Durbin has been hitting much better as of late for the Boston Red Sox, but he is still looking for ways to get better.

Durbin was off to a terrible start to the season at the plate, and he was benched for two straight days near the end of May. However, since that point, he has been on fire. Since his benching, he is slashing .341/.348/.636 with two home runs, a triple and five doubles. He also spent time working at Gradum GSwing in Waltham with Lorenzo Garmendia.
The work with a private hitting coach clearly helped, and Durbin's approach has been much better. He is hitting the ball in the air more, and the numbers are improving. However, Garmendia is not the only hitting coach he is working with. Richard Schenck, Aaron Judge’s personal hitting coach, posted a video on Wednesday of him working with Durbin.
Schenck posted a thread of his work with Durbin, focusing on keeping his head still. He even posted a video noting how keeping the head still led to Durbin having his first career multi-homer game on Wednesday.
Durbin is still looking for ways to be a better hitter, and his work with Gradum and Schenck seems to be helping. He was a National League Rookie of the Year candidate last season, and he is finally starting to look more like that player at the plate. Defensively, he has played great at third base.
