Real Madrid midfielder could be set for a shock loan move to Juventus this summer

Real Madrid are gearing up for major changes this summer, including Jose Mourinho coming in as the new head coach.

Although Mourinho’s return marks a reset, the fate of certain stars will not change, including Eduardo Camavinga, who looks increasingly likely to leave the Santiago Bernabeu after a horrid 2025/26 campaign.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Defensa Central, Camavinga could leave Real Madrid on loan to Juventus this summer.

The arrangement would allow the Frenchman to remain a Real Madrid player, something he has consistently expressed a desire for, while getting regular minutes in one of Europe’s top leagues.

The Italian report comes amid growing indications that Mourinho does not have Camavinga in his plans for next season.

However, those within Real Madrid believe a permanent sale would be the more sensible solution.

With Camavinga contracted until 2029, the club’s hierarchy estimates he could fetch between €35 and €40 million, a fee that would free up both wages and squad space for Mourinho’s rebuild.

This is hardly surprising as Camavinga has never nailed down a regular starting position across five seasons at the club, and his failure to develop as expected.

This is coupled with recurring injuries and the notorious red card against Bayern Munich, which has worn thin with the fanbase and the hierarchy alike.

To make things worse, Camavinga was omitted from France’s World Cup squad as well, which indicates simply how much the midfielder’s stock has fallen.
