PSG are enjoying their Champions League success right now, but behind the scenes, work is already underway on strengthening for the future.
L’Equipe have today reported that the Parisians have their eyes on a young talent from Italy. They claim that PSG are “on the verge” of signing Alessandro Longoni from AC Milan, who would sign his first professional contract with Luis Enrique’s team.

The disaster signing of Lucas Chevalier last season is creating an interesting situation in goal for PSG. There is not much conviction that Matvey Safonov is the long term answer, so Longoni could make rapid advances if he’s as good as everyone hopes.
He kept 5 clean sheets in 17 appearances at youth level for Milan this season, and showed great promise as a future top goalkeeper.
