Manchester United identify Barcelona homegrown talent as key summer transfer target – report

Manchester United have intensified their search for a new left-back, and Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde has emerged as one of the names attracting serious interest at Old Trafford.

According to Team Talk, the Premier League club is prioritising the addition of a young, high-level international full-back as part of their long-term squad planning.

While Luke Shaw remains an important figure within the team, United are eager to strengthen the position with a player capable of becoming a key starter for years to come.

That search has led them towards Barcelona’s academy graduate, whose future could become an interesting talking point during the summer transfer window.

His pace, attacking ability and familiarity with elite competition have made him an attractive option for United’s sporting department.
