No one has ever suffered the fate of Tanner Bibee, which he is currently dealing with as part of the Guardians' 2026 rotation.
Bibee has gone 13 starts and still doesn't have a win in his record.
That's an infamous first:

Bibee didn't waste any time trending in a bad direction on Sunday against the Boston Red Sox. He allowed a leadoff home run.
The long ball has victimized him more this season than ever before, and if he doesn't turn that trend around, nothing great is going to happen with his record.
Of course, the Guardians could always choose to have big run support on one of Bibee's start days, but that hasn't aligned enough to get him a 'W' yet.

Bibee hasn't been bad enough for the Guardians to remove him from the rotation. He was supposed to be one of their top dogs on the mound.
But right now, things aren't going great. The Guardians and Bibee need things to turn around on the days he gets the ball, because right now, he's on a historically negative run.
