The 76ers had a strong second half to their season, and once they were fully healthy, they were able to showcase their talent, taking down the #2 Celtics in the first round.

They were swept in the following round by the Knicks, showing that they still have major strides to make if they want to return as a contender in the East.
With their season over, they are looking ahead to the 2026-27 season and have identified some of the issues they need to address this summer.

Defensive rebounding was named one of the main areas the 76ers will need to address this offseason (via Austin Krell).
Philadelphia averaged 38.0 rebounds in the 2026 postseason, the second-worst in the NBA, only ahead of the Hawks.

They were 18th in the NBA during the regular season in defensive rebounds, with 31.8.
Andre Drummond is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, as he was the 76ers' leading rebounder this past season, averaging 8.4 rebounds.
Philadelphia has a lot of key decisions to make on free agents, including a few of its own, as Kelly Oubre Jr. and Quentin Grimes are free agents in addition to Drummond.
