Auburn basketball to play Middle Tennessee in Huntsville in 2026-27

AUBURN — There will be at least more than one trip north during Auburn basketball's nonconference slate in the 2026-27 season, as the Tigers announced Wednesday, June 3, they'd be returning to the Rocket City Classic in Huntsville for a game against Middle Tennessee.

Auburn last played in Huntsvile during the 2023-24 campaign, facing UNC Asheville in the same multi-team event. The upcoming contest with the Blue Raiders is scheduled for Dec. 15 at VBC Propst Arena.

“We are excited to return to Huntsville and play in front of the Auburn family,” head coach Steven Pearl said in a release. “This is a tremendous opportunity to compete at a neutral site against a perennially competitive program in Middle Tennessee."
